Kevin Rudd's expletive-ridden rant

Kevin Rudd was the 26th Prime Minister of Australia from 2007 to 24th June 2010. Since then, he is Australia's Foreign Minister.

On 17th February 2012, user HappyVegemiteKR uploaded to youtube a video of Rudd, apparently taken in 2009, in a foul mood where Mr Rudd repeatedly uses the F-word, calls diplomats "dickheads" and refers to a "f**king" Chinese interpreter as he tried to read off a script. He also slams a piece of furniture, closes his eyes to relax and then stares awkwardly at the camera.

The video was originally stored in a computer hard disk in the Prime Minister's Office.

This has intensified the Australian Labour Party (ALP) leadership battle between him and incumbent Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

Ms Gillard's team took control of the Prime Minister's Office before Rudd had time to clear everything following his ousting in 2010.

Mr Rudd commented on the 19th February: "the timing is a little bit on the unusual side. Normally these things go from the prime minister's office and I presume for some sort of archival storage, into the prime minister's department or some other government agency."

Ms Gillard commented on the same day: "there have been some assertions today that somehow this is connected with my office. That is untrue. I don't know who put that material on YouTube but whoever did it acted inappropriately."

As can be expected, numerous parodies followed:

Rudd on Erectile Dysfunction

Full Interview, in which whatever he said is hilariously linked to popular music and film. The funniest must be the one starting 2:06 when he "sings" Guns N Roses' "Patience", complete with swaying along with W Axl Rose!

Remix, hip hop style, the F word repeated ad nauseam
