Best photos of the 2010 oil spill in Dalian, China

Photos taken during the oil spill clean-up operations at Dalian's Port on 20th July 2010.

First photo depicts Han Xiaoxiong (top right) and Zheng Zhanhong (entering water) attempting to rescue colleague Zhang Liang (top left) from drowning in the oil slick while he was attempting to fix an underwater pump. Unfortunately, Zhang drowned. The man being pulled ashore in the last three photos is Han Xiaoxiong.
