Gaddafi had a crush on Condoleezza Rice

When Libyan rebels overran Gaddafi's complex, they found an album filled with photos of former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice there.

The US State Dept's comment: "Deeply bizarre and deeply creepy."

In an interview with Al-Jazeera TV in 2007, Gaddafi had said:

I support my darling black African woman. I admire and am very proud of the way she leans back and gives orders to the Arab leaders. ... Leezza, Leezza, Leezza. ... I love her very much. I admire her, and I'm proud of her, because she's a black woman of African origin.

In 2008, Rice made a historic visit to Tripoli - the US had been without an ambassador in Tripoli for decades. Then, he insisted on calling her "Leezza" and welcomed her in his home for breaking of fast. Then, he gave Rice a diamond ring, a lute, a locket with an engraved figure of himself inside and an inscribed edition of The Green Book, a personal political manifesto that explains his 'Third Universal Theory for a new democratic society'. Total worth: USD212,000.
