Highest-resolution single photograph of Earth

The Electro-L, Russia's weather satellite took the following photo of our home planet recently using its 121 megapixel camera from 36,000 km up.

Apparently, it's the first ever photo taken of the Earth in one shot, as opposed to many photos being stitched together.

The image is a combination of visible and near-infrared wavelengths, so it doesn't show what you'd see if you were looking down from the satellite. Example: vegetation looks red.
